Pomfretian is all about life in Pontefract and the lives of those who live and work here. Our aim is to provide a platform for local groups, charities and societies to shout about what they’re doing and encourage residents to get involved in their community.

Whilst we write and produce content ourselves, we also welcome contributions by anyone who has something to share! We’d love to hear about what’s been happening, special events that have taken place and special achievements. General interest articles are also welcomed, as are informative pieces on forthcoming events or news items.
