Picnic & Play at Pontefract Castle

Part of Pontefract Liquorice Festival.

Join us for an array of fun activities and workshops along with huge outdoor cinema screenings of the Lego movies!

Pack a picnic (or choose some tasty snacks from our onsite outdoor caterers), pick your spot and enjoy fun and films throughout the day!

11am – The Lego Movie
1.40pm – The Lego Batman Movie

Sunday 7 July

11am – The Lego Movie 2
1.40pm – The Lego Ninjago Movie

On both days children’s workshops and activities will take place from 10am – 4pm:

– Free face painting
– Free balloon modelling workshop
– Hula hoop mega structure building activity
– Children’s free soft play area with ball pool pit, giant rubber Lego bricks and giant Jenga
– Children’s dance aerobics workshop at the Bandstand

This event is FREE, and there is no need to book. Just come along and join in the fun!
